On Deck:

Well, STO wanted to make sure and feel pity for Eric Wedge since he lost his job, but the Indians did the right thing. It was time he left here because we knew how he would treat the young players. All you have to see is what he did to Matt Laporta in both games. He got hurt because he moved to 1st base, that is what Wedge pretty much said, so he just came back and what does he do? Matt plays 1st base in the 1st game, and he played LF in the 2Nd game. One thing the new manager must do is keep Laporta in one position next season. Allow the utility fielders to play multi positions and nobody else, but he loved that "flexibility". We kept hearing that throughout spring training was the term "flexibility" like it was a good thing, well that "flexibility" got us to a 65-92 record. Game two starts up very shortly. It will feature Mark Buerhle (12-10, 3.95) taking on Justin Masterson (4-9, 4.79). Let's take two.
