**Carlos Guillen- Carlos hit 2 Home Runs, giving him 11 Home Runs, he drove in 4 runs. Carlos now has 36 RBIs and after a 3-4 evening, he is hitting .246.
**Miguel Cabrera- Miguel went 2-4 with a walk, he hit his 31st Home Run of the year, drove in 3 runs, giving him 96 RBIs. Miggy is hitting .332.
**Rick Porcello- Rick was fine tonight, he threw 5 innings, he gave up 1 run ( 1earned), he waslked 3, struck out 1 and now has a 4.14 with 14 wins.
**Placido Polanco- Placido went 2-5 at the plate, he is hitting .284.
**Clete Thomas- Clete hurt the Indians again, he finished the night 2-5, he is hitting .246 on the year.
**Ramon Santiago- Ramon went 2-5 at the plate and is hitting .266.
**Brandon Inge- Brandon went 1-4 with a walk, he drove in 2 runs, giving him 78 RBIs. Brandon is hitting .232.
**Aubrey Huff- Aubrey went 1-4 with a walk, he hit a double and drove in his 85th run and is hitting .245.
**Zach Miner- Zack threw a scoreless 8th inning, he now has a 4.36 ERA.
**Jeremy Bonderman & Fu-Ti Ni- Jeremy threw a scoreless 1/3 of an inning, he did walk 2, but the runs didn't score. He has a 9.00, and Ni came out and finished the final 2/3 of an inning, retiring the two hitters, giving him a 2.76 ERA.
**Andy Marte- Andy doesn't get much playing time lately, but at the plate tonight, he finished 2-2 with 2 walks. Marte is now hitting .234.
**Jamey Carroll- Jamey went 2-4 with a walk, he is hitting .287.
**Shin-Soo Choo- Choo went 1-3 with a walk and a double, he is hitting .303.
**Asdrubal Cabrera- Cabrera went 1-3 with a walk and is now hitting .305.
**Jose Veras- Jose threw 1 2/3 of scoreless innings, he didn't walk anyone, struck out 3 and now has a 5.51 ERA.
**Jess Todd- Jess threw a scoreless 8th inning and now has a 9.33 ERA.
**Rafael Perez- Perez threw a scoreless 9th inning, he struck out 1 and now has a 7.16 ERA.
Goofballs:
**Justin Masterson- Justin was bad, sure the Indians defense didn't help, but neither did Justin. He threw 4 innings, giving up 8 runs (6 earned), he walked 3, struck out 4, gave up 2 Home Runs and raised his ERA to 4.79.
**Mike Gosling- Mike threw 1 1/3 innings, giving up 3 runs (3 earned), he walked 1, didn't strike anyone out and now has a 5.57 ERA.
**Indians Offense- Another disastorous night at the plate. 3 runs on 9 hits, 7 walks, and they left 12 men on base. Again, didn't show a whole lot of heart and poise.
**Andy Marte- Committed his 4th error of the season.
**Ryan Perry- Ryan threw 2 innings, giving up 2 runs (2 earned), he walked 2, struck out 3 and now has a 4.11 ERA.
**Curtis Granderson- Curtis had the hat trick with 3 strikeouts.

Another game, another loss. 4 runs the Indians gave up in that 1st inning and that pretty much sealed the fate. In fact, the Indians haven't even had a lead in over a week, and I kid you not, I think I care more about this team than the players themselves. So, the Tigers go for the series sweep Thursday evening, game starts at 7:05 PM, airing on STO and MLB Network. Indians On deck air at 6:30 PM on STO. Justin Verlander (16-9, 3.44) will take on Carlos Carrasco (0-2, 9.64). So will this team finally win a game? Probably not, but whatever. The game will air on WTAM 1100-AM if you can't see the game on TV. |
