**Indians Defense- Made some boneheaded plays, missing cutoff men, missing plays they should have made that allowed the Twins to move up an extra base. They truly now look like a AAA team, and two weeks ago, that wasn't the case. Shame on them.
**Indians Offense- Had some bad at bats when the game was on the line and they had runners on base. 3 runs on 12 hits, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts, and leaving 10 men on base.
**Jesse Crain- Jesse didn't retire anyone, he gave up a hit, walked 1 and is lucky he didn't give up a run. He still has a 5.23 ERA.

On Deck:
This was such a disastrous series for the Indians. The Twins, without Justin Morneau came out and destroyed us in every way. It's bad when guys like Nick Punto, who is a .232 hitter walks on 5 pitches, then later scores. I just feel that Eric Wedge has finally lost the players now, they are tuning him out, I think some of the players are counting down to the season being over. If that's the case, why should we care anymore? Very frustrating to see, another series tomorrow evening, this time in Oakland to start a 4 game series. Game starts at 10:05 PM, airing on STO with Indians On Deck starting at 9:30 PM. Justin Masterson (4-7, 4.25) will take the mound and be opposed by Clayton Mortensen (1-2, 6.75). The game will air on WTAM 1100-AM, let's go for the series win, at least pretend to care. |
